Youll likely end up feeling so overwhelmed and angry that you might not get anything accomplished. Instead, write down a realistic plan of achievable goals, and spread them out over the course of a week. That way, you wont feel frustrated and youll have better job search success.2. Have some fun.Scanning part-time job listings day in and day out can get pretty dreary after awhile. So be sure to schedule some fun time during the day, too. Maybe playing with your pooches can help you to relax or indulg ing in a decadent dessert after a long day of submitting job applications. Taking the time to reward yourself is essential to your overall physical- and mental- well-being.3. Invest in yourself. As youve been looking through job listings and reading the requirements necessary to apply for various positions, you may have realized that your skills or education are in need of a little updating. Find a way to spruce up your workplace skills- either by taking an online class or attending a webinar- to improve your chances of finding a job that aligns with your career goals and will improve your work-life balance, too.Its easy to become overwhelmed, frustrated, or even depressed during your job search.
